FROM BANJUL, the GAMBIA
If you only have a couple of days, it’s best to take a direct flight to Banjul (capital of the Gambia). Flights arrive at night, when the border in Senegal is closed. We can help organize your pick from the airport, stay the night and the transfer the next day to Kafountine (approximately 1 hour by taxi).
FROM DAKAR, SENEGAL
On the other hand, if you have more days, you can come to Dakar where we can also set you up to spend the first night. From Dakar:
- Take the ferry at Ziguinchor, spending the night on the boat,
- Take a flight from Ziguinchor (one hour by plane),
- Travel by land across Senegal and the Gambia.
